Welcome!

Welcome to the Market Street Arts Festival, where the river meets the road and the past meets the future!  This festival is a grassroots project dedicated to bringing quality art to Brownsville, PA, on the third weekend of May.

The third annual festival, held May 17-19, 2013, reflects Brownsville’s historic past, as well as its hopes for the future.  It will feature artist, artisan, and food vendors, two art exhibitions, competitions in writing, musical composition, and visual arts,  musical performances by twenty ensembles from four states,  historic site tours, hands-on art activities, an archeological dig, and more.

Parking for handicapped visitors is available in a reserved lot adjacent to the Marketplace in downtown Brownsville.  Visitor parking is available in the lot near the lower bridge and at the concert and art show venues (Christ Church, Sons of Italy, and Market Street Academy).  Shuttle buses will run throughout the weekend.
