Arts Horizons 2012 Winners:

Musical Composition: Palmer Stillio (ages 6-10), Henry Stillio (ages 11-14)

Visual Arts: Mackenzie Cloutier (ages 6-10), Henry Stillio (ages 11-14), Danielle Manchas (ages 15-18), Brianna Zinn (ages 15-18), and Jeremy Schmidt (ages 15-18)

Poetry: Nicolette Cloutier (ages 6-10), Thomas Borek (ages 6-10), and Isabella Sigado (ages 15-18)

Fiction: Abigail Nickerson (ages 15-18)

Non-fiction: Hannah Kovscek (ages 15-18)

Drama: Mary Saniga (adult)

2012 National Road Juried Art Exhibition:  A collaboration between Market Street Arts and the Frank L. Melega Museum, this juried show of works by 21 regional artists from Fayette, Westmoreland, Washington, and Greene counties opened on April 21st and was held in conjunction with the festival.  Award winners will be announced at the Festival kick-off on Friday, May 18th.  Jurors: Patrick Daugherty and Greg Harrison. One Best of Show – Winner received an invitation to have a one-person exhibit at the Melega Art Museum and $300. Three additional $100 awards were selected by the jurors.   More information available here.
